The Kosovo MP's initiative on 22 December, for the Special Court's collapse, caused huge media and international speculation. It was the internationals who repeatedly called on the MPs and the country's leaders, that the displacement of Spercies had negative measures for the country. At first, though, this was not in their ears.
In time, he was the first president of the Kadri Veseli Parliament, who through a column admitted that the Special Court in the country should not be thrown down. But even though this matter was accepted by Wessel, it was the prime minister of the country who repeatedly opposed what the internationals said.
The prime minister, in direct response from America, even received his visa rejection for “Morning Prayers”.
However, after a month since Prime Minister Haradinaj repeatedly opposed the internationals, he surrendered. He has said he does not believe the initiative of 43 Kosovo Assembly deputies will succeed in abolishing the Special Court.
Haradinaj has also declared that the Court exists, and is not questioned.
The trial exists, is created by vote in Parliament. Constitutional amendments --” have been voted in, Haradinaj said, during an interview on the “Conflict Zone”, with Tim Sebastian, one of the world's most famous journalists for strict interviews.
He stressed that she does not fear him personally, and that he is willing to give up if an indictment arises against him
Asked by Tim Sebastian, one of the world's most famous journalists for strict interviews, on the “Confliction Zone”, whether you think MPs' initiative for the court will deal with alleged war crimes cases in Kosovo will be advanced, Haradinaj replied: “does not seem to be following the post-x3>.
The MP's <x0Ide is related to procedures, it is related to that court, but it is not at the level of detention of court”, Haradinaj said, when asked by the DW reporter for the initiative of 43 Parliament deputies for the Special Court, broadcasts the newspaper Express.
Earlier, Haradinaj has said that the Special Court exists, and that it is not questioned.
Deutsche Welle's journalist has asked the Kosovo executive chief even whether he fears the Special Court.
There is a concern about the Court to a number of people here”, Haradinaj has said.
“They consider it unjust, as a justice institution, dealing only with certain cases, and not everything that happened here in the past”, the Kosovo prime minister has declared.
“I personally do not fear”, Haradinaj has indicated.
Kosovo's prime minister has said that if this court charges him, he will surrender to it.
Haradinaj, has dismissed the possibility of abolishing the Special Court.
“Deputes want to amend the existing law, but not to prevent the” tribunal, the Kosovo prime minister has indicated.
Only the Special Court, during yesterday's Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, has acknowledged that even the country has not done enough to fight corruption, which is one of the conditions for visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens.
While Tim Sebastian, one of the world's most famous journalists for tough interviews, on the “Confliction Zone”, has reminded the European Union chief's statement in Kosovo that many of the high-level corruption cases have ended without penalties or seizures, and that Kosovo has done much in this direction so that visas can be removed, Haradinaj has said that “this is the real”.
“Corruption and the situation with fighting corruption... are to be applauded as much as we did”, the Kosovo executive chief has indicated.
“We are aware of challenges as society”, Haradinaj has said.
The visa liberalisation is a reward for politicians, it is a reward for citizens, those who are suffering”, the government's first declared.
“We are Europe, we belong to Europe, our future is Europe”, Haradinaj has indicated.
“I think the punishment of politicians or elites is fair, but the punishment of society and citizens, that's fair”, the Kosovo prime minister has said.
Wednesday for Haradinaj was a day of surrender.
The country's prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj, has surrendered to harsh public reactions as well as the interpretation of the Anti-Corruption Agency, following the decision he had made to double his salary and government officials, even though he estimates the AKK's decision is politically influenced.
Haradinaj has made that decision after 30 Kosovo Assembly deputies have applied for assessing the constitutionality of this decision made on December 20th by the Kosovo government.
The prime minister has demanded that this decision be temporarily suspended until a decision is made by the Constitutional Court.
Haradinaj's full status on Facebook where he announces his decision:
The AKK's decision, in terms of wage levels, I appreciate unstable and politically influenced. This decision has given us clear answers and is well known for the opinion.
However, following the request of 30 Kosovo Assembly deputies for assessing the constitutionality of the decision on wage levels, to be made on December 20th by the Kosovo government, I have decided that, by provision, until a Constitutional Court decision, I will ask for the suspension of that decision.
My concern and the government is that this suspension hits judges and prosecutors mostly, as their salaries are directly related to the decision to level wages.
Despite the epilogue of this case, we will try to find a way to ensure full support for judges and prosecutors in the country.
