Since the morning of Wednesday, during a second ceasefire effort, the Syrian forces of Bashar al-Assad have been fighting “ashpra” with rebels controlling the area since 2013, says the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).
The confrontation is part of an ground offensive launched by the government on Sunday. It has been fighting on many fronts to try to penetrate within the rebel-controlled enclave, reports “Al Jazeera”, Periscopi broadcasts.
On the day, four hours of humanitarian “pause” means the removal of those injured outside Damascus and the entrance of humanitarian vehicles to serve residents with food and medical equipment that have been blocked.
The first attempts at implementing the ceasefire on Tuesday proved unsuccessful. Continued bombings and heavy fire artillery have killed at least four people, and many have been injured.
Residents said fighter planes have launched several attacks in the early hours of Wednesday morning, as well as ongoing attacks have occurred in three cities including Douma, Misraba and Harasta.
There wasn't any evacuation without medical equipment, no help, nothing. ”
The regime has launched a psychological game that's all,” said one resident. “Bundards have been continuing since last night. ”/Periscopi/
