Podgorica 16 February 2018
- Starting with commitment to build and promote good friendly and neighbourly relations.
- Confirming the common commitment to contributing to good neighbourly relations, security and stability and the region and beyond.
- Guided by the desire to fulfil obligations stemming from the United Nations Charter, in particular by respecting the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, independence and solutions to disputes by peaceful means, without threats or use of force, even in line with the European Commission's strategy for the Western Balkans.
- The Republic of Kosovo and Montenegro have signed an agreement on the state border in Vienna on 26 August 2015, from now on, referring to the agreement.
- Confirming that in Article 12 of the agreement, the allegations indicate that the agreement is subject to ratification and comes into force in the days of accepting the fund's announcement sent through diplomatic channels in which the parties report each other that have fulfilled their domestic legal and necessary procedures for entry into force.
- Reconfirming the will expressed in Article nine of the agreement signed by the two states, that the eventual disagreements over the implementation of the agreement are resolved by the governments of the parties through diplomat channels.
The Republic of Kosovo and Montenegro of goodwill by respecting good neighbourly relations, sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of both states with respect to the principle agrees as follows.
The Republic of Kosovo will process in the Assembly and provide all efforts to ratify the agreement under Article 12 of the agreement.
The Republic of Kosovo and Montenegro, after ratification, will report to each other that have fulfilled their legal procedures through diplomatic channels and it is found that the agreement has entered into force to form a joint task force for marking the border line.
The parties agree that during this process the joint working body will identify and address the eventual disagreements about border demarcation under this annex.
The joint working body will specifically review and correct the sectors in the direction of Qakorri and the Ziggleb tower and eventually other towers.
This statement has been compiled in Albanian, Serbian and English. In case of any disagreement in interpretation, the English - language agreement will overdo it.
