Kosovo's first several years of self-declared independence have yielded sad results”, Russia's UN representative, Wasily Nebenzya, has said.
According to him, efforts to create a sustainable political system where rule of order and law prevail have failed, producing serious problems that create urgent solutions.
He recalled the time when ten years ago Russia had called emergency meeting of the UN Security Council, after Kosovo's declaration of independence, broadcasts Klan Kosova
That world warned us of these things, of their implications inside, but also of Egypt. Now it is clear that those who invented and implemented the independent Kosovo project must reflect on the results of this reckless act”, Nebenzya has said.
Further, the Russian diplomat stressed that Kosovo is a place where terrorists who go to Syria and Iraq feel secure.
Nebenzya underlined that “is not being done enough in condemning the crimes committed by the Kosovo Liberation Army”.
