Prime Minister Edi Rama claims he will withdraw from the decision to build the HEC on the Osum River. According to him, the decision taken by the previous government, headed by him, but the mistake was made after environmental permission had been forged. Rama says he will take this case to the prosecutor. At that, he apologizes to the citizens and acknowledges that the government has made a mistake.
Rama in Facebook: “City was conducted the legal procedure of adopting a permit given by the previous government and received signal that something was wrong, Environment Minister Blendi Klosi launched the administrative investigation of environmental permission. Which resulted in a criminal factory with manipulated coordinates. Individuals involved in this factory will be passed on to the prosecutor, while the entire procedure will be cancelled.
I thank the citizens for taking this signal first through the Albanian Co-government Platform and all the others involved in publishing this attempted crime.
No government anywhere in the world is unmistakable, but governments distinguish from the way they react, whether they err or they are, when they may unwittingly be mistaken.
Feels anyone who was rightly disturbed or excited by the bad news of the touch of the Magic Canyons, and I look forward to going back there to the wonderful boys and girls of the Albanian Rafting Federation”.
