Two Kosovo police officers, D.M. (1970) and Z.M (1970) were arrested during yesterday under the suspicion that they had not taken care of carefully guarding the site of the event a few minutes after Oliver Ivanovic's murder.
“They have been in charge of guarding the scene and have not done their task properly”, Rexha told KALLXO.com.

News of the arrests of two station police officials in northern Mitrovica revealed the Police Inspectorate.

However, he was being retriald for ordering the 1999 murder of Kosovo Albanians during the Kosovo war for independence. He pleaded innocent.
Serbia has called for involvement in Ivanovic's assassination investigation, while the two states are indirectly exchanging information on this murder.
