Nishani: If the news of Greek media is true, a Albania-Greek conflict will erupt

Greek media today report that the Sea Agreement between Albania and Greece has been reached between the two respective governments.

With triumphalism and much satisfied Greek media announce that the Albanian government has handed over to Greece the most important areas of economic exclusiveness.

There is already no more secret than areas belonging to “de facto” Albania is owners of major gas and oil assets.

If Greek media news is true, this act of the current Albanian government would constitute the highest act of national treason since the founding of the Albanian state in 1912.

This unjust act would open a new and unnecessary historical conflict between the two countries with regional consequences.

With extreme arrogance, the Albanian government keeps the agreement secret and does not suggest any information from this negotiated and concluded agreement under Greece's Foreign Minister recently and Greek media today.

First of all, there is no claim to whether the Albanian government has received “Authorisation of Unpowery” from the president of the Republic?

I claim that by July 24th 2017, no request has been submitted by the Government for “Partnership”, though it is already evident that negotiations and talks have been held even before that date. Whether there is a request after this date and whether this “Plotpower” is provided, this remains to be learned. But since after decision no. Fifteen.04.2010 of the Constitutional Court getting “Plotpower” for negotiating the Sea Agreement is a legal obligation. Do not follow up on this DK verdict constitutes serious criminal acts.

I describe the Constitutional Court's decision:

“26. The court estimates that the researcher's claim for the lack of full power issued by the Republic's president for the Albanian negotiating group during talks and the linking of the maritime demitation agreement between Albania and Greece is based and must be admitted”.

I seek publicly as former president of the Republic, the Public Prosecutor of the Republic to initiate legal verification when negotiations and negotiations are under way, emphasise, <x0-negotiations and talks” on the Sea Agreement, and whether “Plots might be taken during these talks under the Constitutional Court's obligation.

In this case, the Republic's Attorney General and Albanian prosecution are ahead of a major constitutional legal responsibility on state sovereignty.

I call on the Albanian opposition to seek full transparency for the entire negotiation process and the result achieved on the issue. In this case, the opposition has a historic responsibility.

I very much hope that the Albanian media and intellectuals will not remain silent in their community.
