Over 5m euros has been spent in the Kosovo Assembly during nine months of 2017, of which 4m and 38 thousand euros have been spent on salaries and hires of MPs, administration and political staff, Koha Ditore writes today.
Although the Parliament was not very active during this period, it was the reason for its break-up in May and the restoration of the new legislature in August, no official trips, numerous lunches, mobile phone spending, or fuel.
The Assembly has spent 347 thousand euros on official travel, both in and out of the country, travel wages, accommodation and other travel expenses.
In the financial report released by the Parliament for the Nine-month Fourth of 2017, travel and fuel tickets expenditures are noted, where most of the trips are in Albania, Montenegro and Macedonia. Only for travel tickets did MPs spend 56 thousand and 701 euros, administration 21 thousand and 239 euros, and support political staff 18 thousand and 482 euros.
