The Irish daily, The Irish Times, has written an article on the murder of Oliver Ivanovic and the control the Serbian mafia has deployed in northern Kosovo.

For the majority of Serbs in northern Kosovo, much greater concern than entry into the European Union is growing fear of the mafia ruling this part, writes Irish Times.

“They control everything”, says Dragisa Milovic, a doctor from Mitrovica and Ivanovic's ally.

Criminal “Bands decide between life and death”, he says.

“They decide who will be chairman, who will be the directors of Serbian firms, who will be employed by those firms. They control the flow of money to the north and thus have all the power, as well as some police officers. Oliver let this know”, Milovic claims.

Irish Times writes about the Serbian List that controls things politically in the north and is linked to Alexander Vuciq's party.

For Ivanovic's stances against the Serbian List, he has been named a traitor.

I didn't always agree with Oliver, but why do we all think that we are not in North Korea”, Milovic says.

“Belgrade created a party that wants it completely controlled, which only thinks in one way. So we wanted to change things, to have plurality in thought”. /Klankosova/
