Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj, today, has attended the ninth anniversary of the founding of Prizren University, at the same time, the 55th anniversary of the opening of the Pedagagic High School.
Hoxhaj said Prizren University “Uktin Hoti”, its growth and profile clearly shows that the decision taken in 2009 to establish this university has been fair and shot.
Deputy Prime Minister Hoxhaj also spoke of political currentity in Kosovo, saying that with the completion of the demarcation theme Wednesday, free movement through visa liberalisation will pave the way. He said that the share of society that will benefit most from visa liberalisation will be young, especially students who will be able to come out, study and see the world, and then apply their knowledge of the development of our country.
The closure of demarcation these days would pave the way for visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens. I have no doubt that the biggest beneficiaries will be the young people, who will be able to come out to see the world, study and return to apply their knowledge in Kosovo”, Hoxhaj said in his address to those present.
Hoxhaj also spoke of the second decade of Kosovo's citizenship, where he stressed the importance of Kosovo's membership in the UN, adding that it depends too much on commitment and work on the quality of our education and universities.
Hoxhaj has expressed the government's support for Prizren University, and has pledged that they will engage for greater quality for Kosovo universities to be competitive with European universities.
