According to the latest official data published, Slovenia's president, Borut Pahor, has the largest monthly salary in the region. As it says on its property form, delivered to the Electoral Commission, its monthly income totals 3,322 euros.
As the portal Al Jazzera reported, more than 3,000 euros are the monthly salaries of Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic and members of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency. Conflict Commission Decides that Grabar Kitarovic has a net salary of 3,276 euros, while members of the BiH Presidency earn an average of 3,091 euros, Telegrafi conveys.
Bosnia and Herzegovina's Central Election Commission emphasises that Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency members Bakir Izetbegovic, Dragan Covic and Mladen Ivanic receive 2,862, 2,87436 euros a month respectively.
According to public data, Serbia's president has a triple wage lower than that of Croatian and Bosnian presidents. Aleksandar Vuciq receives 1.083 euros a month, which is the smallest presidential salary in the region.
Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic receives a monthly salary of 2,443 euros, while Kosovo President Hashim Thaci receives 2,873 euros.
Less than 2,000 euros a month are paid by Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov (1,250) and Albanian President Ilir Meta (1,425).
If we compare the presidential income to the average wage in the region, the absolute record with high wages is the president of Kosovo and the members of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency. Salaries Hashim Thaci is almost eight times higher than the average salary, while the three members of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency receive salary seven times higher than the average salary in that country.
The presidents of Croatia, Macedonia and Slovenia receive salaries three times the average salary in their country, while Serbia's president receives double the average salary in Serbia.
According to the latest official statistical data, the highest average salaries in the region are in Slovenia and Croatia, while the lowest in Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. /Telegraph
