Honored citizens, we have just reached the consensus to ratify the Border Sign Agreement with Montenegro. I would like to thank Prime Minister Haradinaj, the Democratic League of Kosovo, the Social Democrat Initiative and Deputy Prime Minister Pacolli for the readiness for consensus and for very constructive dialogue. This collaboration should also convey us to other important processes for the country”, Vessel writes on Facebook.
That political consensus for demarcation has been reached, Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Behgjet Pacolli said.
With the Prime Minister today after a long conversation. The gap between the LDK and the prime minister has been resolved. Document accepted, as the LDK has requested. There's no more dilemma to get ahead of”, Pacolli said.
“It can definitely be considered that this problem and dyvergence between LDK and the prime minister have been chosen. There will be no problem”, he added.
It was hard, but I'm so glad it happened. No conditions, but positively and thinking about the future of young people”.
Meanwhile, demarcation failed twice, in the last two sessions, as the AAK's LDK disagreed over the contents of the document that would be adopted in Parliament. Isa Mustafa's party demanded that the Bush report be only informative, while Haradinaj demanded that the same be binding.
Along with the agreement reached between Kosovo and Montenegro in 2015, it will be ratified in Parliament, and the document signed by Kosovo and Montenegrin President, which confirms that improvements can be made to mark the border line if new facts are found.
