Haliti and Arifi speak after being released from custody

The two activists of the Vetevendosje Movement, Father and Arifi and Egzon Haliti have spoken after their release from custody and the Court of Appeals' decision to turn their case into retrial. In their interviews with KALLXO.com, they believe that at the end of this retrial they will be acquitted of the Constitutional Court in [...]
The accused Arifi of Egzon Haliti during his stay in custody have been in the same cell as the other accused, Frasher Krasniqi.
But they said they have never discussed with MP Krasniqi about the Vetevendosje Movement's internal problems, because the positions of the parties in this case have already been known.
According to them, discussions have been about the daily routine in prison, but not about Vetevendosje issues or the resignation of Frasher Krasniqi from the party's leadership, which Father and Arifi say understood only by the news he saw on TV they had in their cell.
Even Arifi and Haliti have confirmed that Albin Kurti did not visit them during their time in custody, but they reason on the fact that Kurti himself had a trial and after his release from custody because, according to them, he had to deal with the party's internal affairs.
And they have confirmed that on the list with the names of those they have proposed to meet them, they have never introduced former President Visar Ymer and former Secretary Dardan Moliqaj because of political differences.
Prison treatment, according to them, has been good, but as they say, conditions have not been good at all. The Court of Appeal yesterday decided to retrial Vetevendosje activists.
In November last year, the Constitutional Court in Pristina issued verdicts on the four suspects in the case. At and Arifi, 25, was sentenced to 6 years in prison; MP Fraser Krasniqi, 29, was sentenced to 8 years in prison; Egzon Haliti, 24, was sentenced to 5 and a half years in prison, as well as Adea Batusha, 21, was sentenced to 2 years in prison.
These four were charged that on August 4th of last year in co-ordination they had attacked the Kosovo Parliament, so criminal acts of terrorism were charged, the act seen at Article 136 of the Kosovo Criminal Code, while in this case qualified according to paragraph 1 of this article, punishable by no less than 5 years in prison.
