Even the process of selecting members of the AKP Board is done by the government, without the embassy's participation, has revealed the British Embassy in a response to the paper.
“Even though it was on the list agreed between the British Parliament, Government and Embassy at the request of the Government of Kosovo, the British Embassy has withdrawn from the selection of members of the “Trepca” Board. The AKP Board members' positions were also on the list, but the proposal for their appointment was made by the Government of Kosovo without our involvement”, said the Embassy's response.
This embassy had also reacted to the appointment of Secretary of Trade and Industry, saying he has failed to meet the criteria for this position and that the memorandum signed with Government has been violated.
The Kosovo government has not responded to those charges.
