The government has approved the request to the Parliament for the withdrawal of the State Border Agreement Bill on Ratification between the Republic of Kosovo and Montenegro.

This meant that the Bill would also join the declaration reached between the presidents of both states.

While at 16 o'clock, the government has warned in the order of the day is: “Exploration and amendment of the State Border Agreement Ratification Bill between the Republic of Kosovo and Montenegro”.

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci on February 16th has indicated that he and his counterpart from Montenegro, Filip Vujanovic, have issued a joint declaration on marking the border between the two countries.

The two presidents' joint statement reportedly: “The Republic of Kosovo will proceed to the Kosovo Assembly and offer all efforts to ratify the agreement under Article 12 of the” agreement.
