German Judge Serious Charges EULEX: Not Interested in Rule of Law

Koschinka, currently working as the District Court judge in Gorlitz, Germany, was the international court in EULEX shortly after the mission began between 2008 and 2011.
He said he witnessed the problems the institution has EULEX.
Many people simply were not qualified to work there [in EULEX, v.j], especially at the highest level”, says Koschinka, who served as appeals court at the Supreme Court of Kosovo. Some people did not understand the basic ideas of rule of law. They were not interested in rule of law. They thought the law was just a friendly recommendation”.
Koschinka said it had gone with optimism to Kosovo, but that he had later experienced a kind of non-professionalism in EULEX, writes Insader.
We came there to promote rule of law and bring rule of law to Kosovo. We wanted to sign at this point”, says Koschinka. So that I could witness this kind of non-professionalism I was totally surprised”.
