With great pain, we're informing you that our friend Louis Gilbert has passed away”, says their communiqué.
They described the director as a true “gentleman who made a big contribution to the British film industry”.
Gilbert directed the three films of Bond, “You live only twice” in 1967 with Sean Connery in the lead, the Spy Who Loved Me” in 1977, while explained Roger Moore played at “Moraker”.
Before becoming famous for Bond's films, the director made two films for World War II -- “Arrin in the sky” and “ -- change Bismark!”
His last film, “, was shot in 2002 before you go”, while underlining that he lived an attractive life.
In 2010 he published a autobiography called “all my background”.
