Danielsson during the media conference after meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has said that once the European Commission is met, it will propose visa liberalisation.
But he stressed that two of the 95 criteria for visa liberalisation have yet to be met.
The “Commission would propose to have visa liberalisation. 93 of the 95 criteria have been fulfilled. Now there are only two more terms left of ratification of Demarket and fighting corruption and organised crime. We want to see a solution and that remains with Kosovo and Montenegro. It is up to your country to find the choice and we will be happy to do so, so that visa liberalisation may be done because the EU wants visa liberalisation for Kosovo”, Danielsson said.
While European Foreign Action General Director Thomas Mayr Harting has spoken about the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
He has declared that he hopes for a real dialogue and that there will be an improved relationship between these two states at the end.
