EU carrots that Serbia forces to give up Kosovo

Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic has said there are no European carrots from the EU for which Serbia would willingly give up on Kosovo

The “It is the unthinkable that the counties in Brussels will expect from the historical voracious, while those within the EU have no unique attitude when it comes to the Kosovo issue”, Dachic said.

Speaking of today's continuation of the Belgrade and Pristina dialogue, Daciq has told <x0vesternje novosti” that the Serbian side does not accept any correction of the AKS agreement.

“If the EU agrees on something like this, I believe it will not agree, then the whole dialogue falls down and for us there will be no place”, he stressed.

Dacic has estimated that in a part of the international community, and in Pristina there is a clear goal for Serbs in northern Kosovo to declare destabilising factors, adding that they are playing with fire, Koha.net broadcasts.

He has said it is easier to negotiate with the administration in Washington now, and, according to him, this is a good chance for Belgrade because America does not want new instability and that it has shown interest in the Serbian initiative for the long-term solution to Kosovo.

Dacic has stressed that until the solution must be reached by compromise, rather than by imposing Serbia's position that it should recognise Kosovo.

I was going to ask everyone in the EU, how it's possible that only Serbia's borders were changed and others remain like stones. First they separated Kosovo from Serbia and now say there is nothing to talk about. There's, like, no. If the confession is over, why are we being invited to dialogue?
