Court sentences 10 people for impeachment and obligation in the Albanian group

The Constitutional Court in Prizren today declared the indictment against the group of guilty and imposed suspects in Prizren.

The chief defendant in this case, Tune Kqira, has been sentenced to 2 years and 3 months in prison; Kastriot Kqira to 3 years in prison, John Kqira to 2 years and 6 months, Gexon Kqira by 5 months, Gezim Kqira by 5 months, Benson Busa by 2 years and 6 months, Besfort Omaj by 2 years and 5 months, Hukkofete by 6 months, Ekrem Leci by 6 months, Hirem Gryenari by 6 months, while two other indictees, Rap Falija and Sotreaj, have been released from charges, KALLO.

The chairman of the court, Xhedinus Osmani, said during the announcement of the court's conviction that Tuna and John Kqira are declared innocent in the criminal offence, while Kastriot Kqira of Besfort Omaj have been convicted of this work.

Tune Kqira, John Kqira, Ekrem Leci and Hil sokinari are reportedly found guilty in the criminal work of organising pyramid schemes and gambling.

According to the Special Prosecutor, over the past few years, the defendants Tuna, Kastriot, John, Maryan, Gzim Kqira and Benson Busa have acted as an organised criminal group aimed at direct financial gain by performing serious criminal acts.

According to the indictment, Tune Kqira has supervised and directed the actions of this criminal group.

The group has exploited the serious financial situation or the experience of the injured and has given money to them. Then, using serious threats, they have been forced to pay markedly non - proportional interest rates or to perform other acts at the expense of their wealth.

Charged in this case were Tuna, Kastriot, John, Maryan, Grysk and Gezim Kqira, Benson Buza, Besfort Omaj, Officefette Hukoli, Ragip Fazlija, Ekrem Leci, Hil Kachinari, Syedad Sororay and Zef Orosi.
