Canadian Minister for Migrants, Refugees and State Ahmed Hussein declared that his ministry has prepared plans for immigrants. The document points out that the quota in 2017 for 300,000 immigrants will grow in 2018 for 310,000, in 2019 for 330,000, and in 2020 to 340,000.
According to him, the Canadian economy needs nearly one million immigrants because by 2035, five million Canadians will retire.
The Economic Growth Consultative Council recommended that Trudo increase the number of immigrants to 350,000 in 2018 and by 2020 begin to accept by 450,000 people.
In 2011-2015, the immigration quota in Canada was 260,000 immigrants. Traditionally, refugees from the Near East, Asia, Africa, and Eastern Europe arrive in the country, including Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus.
