The chief of negotiations with Serbia and Kosovo Prime Minister Avni Arifi's cabinet chief has reacted sharply to Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin, who proposed the “partition of Kosovo”.
Volin during a table said the best solution between Albanians and Serbs would be with the partition of Kosovo.
The “permanent protections between Albanians and Serbs must be established in Kosovo. What needs to happen in Kosovo is the long-term and strong division between Albanians and Serbs”, Voulin has said at the roundtable with experts, Kosovo dialogue participants.
And to those statements, Kosovo delegation chief for talks with Serbia Avni Arifi has reacted sharply.
He has told news.net that no one will ever touch the sovereignty and territory of Kosovo.
“I don't comment Serbia's statements, I don't deal with them. I just remind Vulin even all the others that Kosovo is a sovereign and independent state with borders, and it never has its sovereignty and territoriality to be affected”, Arifi said.
Prime Minister Haradinaj's adviser has said Vulin's dreams of Kosovo have ended on February 17th.
It has all finally had a wish for Kosovo citizens.
The dreams of the seal of others have died on February 17th. Congratulations, Kosovo's 10th annual independence”, has ended Avni Arifi.
Otherwise, such statements by Serbs on partitioning Kosovo have been made earlier.
Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic had long ago expressed a stance on partitioning Kosovo, naming it a personal, not a Serbian government opinion.
Meanwhile, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic himself has repeatedly stressed that a solution should be found for Kosovo, which would not be satisfactory for either side, but without specifying what solution it is about.
And it seems that these statements are recommunating “from the European Union, as Serbia is the main state expected to be joined in the EU by the Western Balkans.
