The alternative sees it as very difficult in 2018, needs new elections.

The Special Court, the accelerated process for normalising relations with Serbia and a new election process, will lead Kosovo to spend the most difficult year in 2018. So said the deputy of the newest political party Alternative, Ilir Deda, precisely in its formalisation, in the First Election Assembly, in which it will yoke the governing bodies.
MP Deda said that during this year they will have many challenges, but that they will make even stronger. In fact, according to him, for the Alternative, 2018, it is the year of their increase because of the unspoiled work of all members.
Deda has estimated that the situation in Kosovo is serious as a consequence of the government's irresponsability, irresponsibly, which it would not be able to think even in the most desirable thoughts of Kosovo.
This year's “Most of will be a serious year. Heavy year because of the Special Court, heavy year due to the proximity or speeding up the normalisation of the process with Serbia, and a heavy year because we will also pass an election. But, we are optimistic that the upcoming parliamentary elections will produce a different Kosovo Assembly Commission, along with the alternative with it in a government that will prepare Kosovo for EU membership. The parties that today lead Government are unable to do so. Those of us who are not in Government are able to do this and we will need greater mobilization, hard work coming up to the day when with the government's change we will focus on Kosovo citizen”, Deda said.
According to him, parties leading the government are unable to lead Kosovo towards the EU. Deda has added that on national subjects they must have national consensus.
While Mimoza Kusari-Lila, who is the leader of this subject until the selection of new organs, called the attempt to finalise the Alternative as liberal-democrat political subject.
It accused parties in power of isolating the country, saying citizens are stuck to 10,000 square kilometers.
We're forgetting that somewhere in the world a car goes to March, in Kosovo we're limited and stuck to 10,000 square miles without having the possibility that if we want to see something more interesting in Budapest or Athens we'll have to wait for the app first and at half a chance if we can get a visa for these states. And this is denying being an average citizen of the oldest continent in Europe”, Kusari-Lila stressed.
Kusari-Lila said they only have one Kosovo to live in and only a coloured flag. She's called mercenaries the ones who fought and became millionaires because only mercenaries fight for money.
According to her, natives fight for their country whenever required. Kusari-Lila added that they have not submitted the trust of those who have sacrificed and fallen for Kosovo's freedom.
They have sacrificed for the country, and others today have demanded their sacrifice. They believe they have the right to call to that sacrifice and then offer themselves the lives of the millionaires. Then only they have the right to hold as such because they sacrificed, no. If we're talking about having to say that we have to give monetary value to sacrifice, if we're talking about those who have taken the rifle, and today they've become millionaires calling on that rifle, then it's just a word, mercenaries. Mercenaries are paid if they fight for someone, the natives, patriots fight for their country when they must fight, while in peace they build the state. While we are looking for natives who want to build the state”, she said.
The Alternative Convention has also welcomed LDK Secretary Ismet Beqiri, who said Kosovo needs something new like the Alternatives, after citizens have grown tired of some old.
“As if Kosovo needs a strong partnership with subjects within Kosovo because we alone cannot govern, the feeling of being big is wrong because each one needs, that the more the common vision, the common idea, the common common common good goal that is the development of our country”, Beqiri stressed.
Beqiri has assured the alternative that they have a partner and that this year in elections to be held they will find forms of co-operation.
Independent MP Korab Sejdiu, who said that despite the challenges, has seen it are a dedicated group of the Alternative.
According to him, the time has come for people who delegate that responsibility to them to have dignity and responsibility.
After the official part, the First Election Assembly of the Alternative, has conducted other processes in the party's ruling bodies.
