The accused admits that he had committed murder in 2011 in Decan

After the indictment was read by prosecutor Agim Kurmeha, accused Shaip Zukaj has pleaded guilty to two criminal acts he was charged with: serious murder and illegal weapons.

The accused said he regrets the case that had occurred in 2011 in Decani.

I feel guilty, I apologize sincerely to the damaged parties. I feel guilty for the actions. It leaves the decision to the Court”, Shaip Zukaj said during the initial review hearing.

The case attorney, Agim Kurmeha, before the defendant pleaded guilty to impeachment, read the indictment under which Shaip Zukaj from the village of Beleg of Decani, in 2011 with automatic rifles killed Zymer Dervisaj and wounded Adil Thaci, at the Decani Green Market.

He was also accused of illegal weapons.

Prosecutor Kurmeha said an admission of guilt must be admitted by the accused, since the same in consultation with his defenders has been aware of the benefits and consequences of admitting guilt.

Even attorney Ndek Dodaj, who defends the accused, said he feels regret over the case, and asked the Court to accept the guilty plea with the argument that he had previously consulted his client.

In addition to the prosecutor and attorney, representatives of the families injured before the court said they have forgiven the accused's blood and accepted his guilty plea.

The moment we gave him blood, for me 1,000 times a day without him, is the same. For me it is an admission of guilt and leaves it in recognition to Judge”, Besnik Dervisaj said when asked by the judge of the case about admitting guilt by the accused.

The injured man Adil Thaci, who claimed to have forgiven the accused's blood, also answered.

We as a family have forgiven the blood, it's been honest in accepting guilt. We will not apply for compensation”, Thaci said.

The court then took a plea to plead guilty to accused Shaip Zukaj, while announcing that the case will be taken on Thursday.

Shaip Zukaj had been on the run for several years until he was arrested in the state of Belgium and was later extradited to Kosovo. /Call. com
