The State Prosecutor has appointed the 30-day detention measure to two Kosovo hackers, who are also being charged by the US Department of Justice.
Thus has Kosovo Prosecutor's spokesman Ekrem Lutfiu announced.
Liridon Musliu and Besart Hoxha were arrested on February 6th by Kosovo Police, after being sought by the US Department of Justice.
Kosovo's two citizens are among the 36 people to whom the US Department of Justice has pressed charges of involvement in cyber fraud schemes and identity theft.
Of this cybercrime, damage has been estimated to exceed the value of US $530 million in losses to consumers, businesses and financial institutions.
