148 policemen are disabled in war

Interior Affairs Minister Flamur Sefaj said there are 148 officials who have been issued the decision to recognise disability.

He provided this information after MP Zafir Berisha's question, who asked to know the number of those disabled within the police.

There are about 148 police officials whose Ministry of Labour and Social Management has issued decisions on recognition of the KLA's pension rights to disabled. In decisions they have been assigned a degree of disability, and they distinguish degrees from one to another. The positions which hold these officials within the KP range from administrative, operational, investigative, specialised and managing positions. The IPK is investigating and the Kosovo police will act on the recommendations that will be submitted by the IPK”, Sefaj said.
