The administrative guidance, which has already been finalised and which by the end of the month is scheduled to be adopted, stipulates the rules regarding the establishment of this label showing the state flag of goods origin.
“The product origin flag should be set near the sale price or price per entity, no further than a centimeter from the product price; The size of the flag indicating the origin of the state product should be proportional to the price of the” product, says in the first two paragraphs of the fourth article. “Imported product origin is determined by customs authorities”.
The following article requires that the country flag of origin be clearly deployed and always visible to the consumer. The shape of the flag is set to be rectangular with a diameter of five inches [1.5 cm] width and one inch [1 cm] of height. Dimensions are also designed to change, “to the occasion when the proving nature requires it, but always by preserving the originality and visibility of the flag”.
