Kosovo's Statistics Agency has released the report on women and men in Kosovo”, in 2016-2017, which reportedly is 111.2 men for 100 women. While the average age of married men for 2017 was 28 years for women and 32 years for men.
The AKS says statistical data that has been presented to publication “Grata and Men in Kosovo, 2016-2017<18x1>, are long-term and short-term, reflecting the gender situation in Kosovo, according to economic and social life sectors.
According to the AKS, all available data sources are used to prepare this publication, offering full statistical information to help perceive the gender situation.
The publication “Gratte and Men in Kosovo” is published every two years and contains these chapters: Population, Health and Goodness, Education, Social Protection, Jurisprudence, Labour Market, Revenues and Decisions.
“Statistical Affairs, which are presented in the publication “Grata and Men in Kosovo 2016-2017“, present some important facts about some indicators: The masculinity coffient was 111.2 males for 100 females (more than the general ratio of the gender population ratio); The average age of married men for 2017 was 28 years for women and 32 years for men; Fertility records have declined, compared with the previous years by 3 children per woman in 2003, to 2 children for a woman in 2017; The employment rate in women was 12.7%, while in men 46.6%; and the unemployment rate for women was 36.6%, while 28.7% for men”. It's said in the AK communiqué.
