Wessel from Iwa talks about increased co-operation between the two countries

Chief Prime Minister Kadri Wessel is standing on official visit to the United States.

He has been in the state of Iowa today, where he has, among other things, met Parliamentary House Speaker Linda Upmeyer.

“Partnerity with the State of Iowa has been extremely fruitful and I am very pleased that there is a desire for our co-operation to be increased in many areas. Through this partnership Kosovo has benefited from the extraordinary experience of the institutions of Iowa in agriculture, meanwhile many students have benefited from study opportunities. With the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Iowa Parliament, we discussed deepening co-operation. I invited Mrs. Upmeier to visit Kosovo, an invitation she gladly accepted. During the day, I also had meetings with directors of various institutions in Iowa, who are very willing to work at increasing exchanges between our two states”, wrote Wessel on his Facebook profile.
