Wednesday at the request of Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has been declared a day of mourning. This honours former US President George H.W. Bush.
They have made it known through a media communiqué from the president's office.
“Republic of Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, following the death of former President of the United States George H. W. Bush, in recognition of state and citizen respect for his contribution to Kosovo's freedom on Wednesday (December 5th, 2018), has declared it a day of state mourning in the Republic of Kosovo”
On the day of mourning, the state flag of the Republic of Kosovo will be raised in half-point at all state objects of the Republic of Kosovo, both inside and outside the country.
Wednesday has been declared a national day of mourning even in the United States
