On the occasion of the International Volunteerhood Day note, Minister Gashi stressed that the state of Kosovo is recognising and assessing volunteer work and is trying to repay it.
The ministry in support of the strengthening law for youth participation has drafted administrative guidelines for volunteer work, and through this we have proved that we are doing a good job because for the first time we are adjusting a contribution, a commitment, an ongoing effort to help the community where you live and Kosovo youth”, he said.
The chief of the UNICEF Office in Kosovo, Jemes Mugayu, said volunteers in Kosovo are helping to promote and increase inclusion in society through shares in the community, which create a positive environment.
“We have worked together to establish the Kosovo platform of volunteers, this platform is the great achievement of Minister Gashi, who has done it in co-operation with UNICEF. Today we know that Minister Gashi and U NICEF is available to provide the mobile app, because it will facilitate reaching more young and volunteers”, he said.
Mugayu also stressed that the platform for volunteers has been created as a bridge between school and work.
