Tirana students triumph, government abolish extra payment decision for taxed exams

Students in Albania do not back down from their protest despite abolishing the decision on the taxed exams.

With calls “free public education”, “we don't give up”, “we're not the ATM” students protested in front of the Ministry of Education building despite the education minister's news, Lindita Nicolas has been abolished points 4 for extra payment for the carried exams.

In addition to Tirana, students also protested in the Universitys of Durres, Elbasan, Korca and Shkodra.

Students warned that the protests would continue until their demands are met. The presidency's announcement says that the head of state is carefully following student protests in several cities and urges authorities to testify to the sensitivity and responsibility needed to resolve issues that concern students, according to law and the spirit of dialogue.
