With calls “free public education”, “we don't give up”, “we're not the ATM” students protested in front of the Ministry of Education building despite the education minister's news, Lindita Nicolas has been abolished points 4 for extra payment for the carried exams.
Thank you for the students who served as the incentive to increase communication. The government will give up the tax on the bearer exams. As of today, the government will abolish the tariff-related decision, there will be no additional costs for the remaining students. NKM's Article 4 will be removed, and there will be no payment for the student's student exam for”, Education Minister Lindita Nicolas said.
In addition to Tirana, students also protested in the Universitys of Durres, Elbasan, Korca and Shkodra.
Students warned that the protests would continue until their demands are met. The presidency's announcement says that the head of state is carefully following student protests in several cities and urges authorities to testify to the sensitivity and responsibility needed to resolve issues that concern students, according to law and the spirit of dialogue.
