Thousands of comments by Albanians angry with Moghrin, called him racist and pro-Russian

Thousands of angry Kosovo residents criticised European diplomacy chief Federica Moghrini on her Facebook page, angry that they are the last in the Balkans that need visas to travel to the European Union. On December 10th, Moghrin published a message on Facebook on the 70th anniversary of the UN General Declaration on Human Rights. Since then, Kosovo residents are angry: “Where is the visa removal for Kosovo that you promised us?”, says Besnik Sahiti.
Today, the number of comments reached 13,000, the overwhelming majority like this: “We have been isolated for years, although we have done everything you asked of us”, writes Rezart Kashtanjava.

“Yes, where are human rights for Kosovo? Shame on you!
We are the only country in Europe that requires visas to travel to the European Union, where our rights are, Mrs. ”, says another commentator. I think you're a racist and pro-rus,” accuses commentator Albert Kopriva.
The European Parliament in September supported abolishing visas for Kosovo residents, as it has met the 95 criteria required. But to the great disappointment of Kosovo's inhabitants, it seems that this privilege will not come soon.
The European Parliament's decision only paves the way for negotiations with member states, five of which do not recognise Kosovo -- Spain, Cyprus, Greece, Slovakia and Romania. A double qualified majority, or 55 per cent of member states, representing 65 per cent of the EU population, is needed to approve the release from the obligation to obtain an EU visa.
Otherwise, European Union Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn mentioned 2020, as the most optimistic time when Kosovo will again be able to expect a positive evental decision on visa liberalisation.
