At least $650,000 has been documented for biobook “State, Modern Stateman” of President Hashim Thaci. This is one of many findings in the Investigative Commission's report on Lobbim spending, which has been completed and next week goes to Parliament.
The Express newspaper has secured part of the report, which argues that the state of Kosovo has given money for the president's personal book.
According to this document it becomes known that $650,000 is paid only for the opening word of Thaci's book.
“Senator Dole” has edited and edited his opening address in President Thaci's next book, said in a part of the investigative commission's document concerning the presidency and Government's lobbies, provided by a ruling coalition deputy.
On July 18, 2017, the company “Alston and Bird” had sent the bill entitled “to the MPJ Strategic Advice and Consel” that charged Kosovo with $650,000 payments.
The Lobbim Expedition Commission has so far invited President Thaci six times to report, but the latter has ignored all invitations.
Weeks ago, after a meeting of this show, President Dardan Sejdiu indicated that President Thaci has not responded, while close to the commission reported people with him.
Among the persons interviewed so far by the commission are Kosovo Ambassador to the US Vlora Citaku, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Petrit Selimi, Ardian Arifaj, adviser to President Thaci.
The commission has also contacted British lawyer Nietzsche, who with several letters sent to the current government, has explained how he and his colleague, Nevonka Tromp, Thaci, owed about half a million euros.
In Thaci's book, Nietzsche says he's contributed to the author's help, Susie Jagger, to write about the part about Thaci's accusations that he trafficked organs during the 1999 war. That, according to the lawyer, has been an agreement between him and the former government and now wants to be paid.
