Thaci reacts after special invitations: KLA reported many times, believe in transparent processes

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has for the first time commented on the Special Court, following numerous invitations to interview some of the former KLA participants. Not commenting indirectly, Thaci wrote that Kosovo was the victim of Serbia's aggression, and according to him, ethnic cleansing occurred in Kosovo [...]
Not commenting indirectly, Thaci wrote that Kosovo was the victim of Serbia's aggression, and, according to him, ethnic cleansing of genocide proportions took place in Kosovo, writes Periscopi.
Thaci points out that freedom fighters to prove innocence were subjected to various investigative processes, led by internationals, such as he is. UNMIK, of The Hague Tribunal, EULEX, and finally the Special Court.
The president has said that Kosovo believes in transparent processes, including the Special Court.
President's scripture:
Kosovo was the victim of Serbia's aggression. Citizens of Kosovo, in their struggle for freedom and independence, sacrificed their lives.
Ethnic cleansing of genocide proportions took place in Kosovo.
Over 13 thousand Albanian civilians were killed and an estimated 20,000 Albanian women were raped. About 3 thousand people disappeared and about 40 percent of the infrastructure was destroyed. They were violently displaced from their homes and properties by about 1 million Albanians, and all this inhumane campaign was exercised by Serbia.
Our fight was just, and it was fought on the basis of principles of freedom and justice.
Justice should be for all, without ethnic distinction.
Freedom fighters, to witness the truth and justice of their war, passed through successive international-led judicial systems. They passed through the UNMIK justice system, The Hague and EULEX's Tribunal, to counter-face our allies' request for the establishment of Specialised Chambers, which was the precedent in relation to other war-free countries in the region.
Kosovo, although victimised, believing in truth and justice, founded Specialised Chambers in the summer of 2015.
Our freedom fighters have always been an example in the region, responding to and never fleeing justice.
Even today, in the new situation created, every former freedom fighter has to preserve and cultivate noble warrior values by responding to specialised rooms with civic and legal integrity.
Kosovo believes in truth, justice and transparent processes.
Only then can we build European Kosovo on its safe journey towards NATO and the European Union. HTH
