Thaci, before MPs, spoke of many successes he says Kosovo has achieved.
The president said he felt happy about converting the KSF into the Army, which he said has been very committed but that he has been lonely for many years, Periscope reports.
“I have often felt alone in my commitment to establishing the Kosovo Army. For the end of the day, I am happy, all of them became together for the establishment of the Kosovo Army. KSF soldiers have deserved this change. The KSF will continue to remain professional force”, he said.
He said the year 2018 was a jubilee year, when the first decades of the state of Kosovo was marked.
“From a destroyed country, from Serbia's genocide, we have been established to an independent and sovereign state, with the fastest economic development in the region, with better legislation in the region, with success in education health, in science and art, sports and culture”, the president stressed.
A renewed gratitude, Thaci also had for the demarcation vote, which, according to him, has enabled the establishment of the Serbian Communists Association.
“For such a thing I assure that it will not happen”, he said.
While, he said there is room for better governance in Kosovo, to improve the quality of citizens' lives.
Kosovo needs a more effective government, with its citizens even closer. He created conditions for a better life. This is where we all have to engage. Any good work will have my support as president”, he said. /Periscopi/
