Thaci expresses commitment to human rights via Facebook

President Hashim Thaci had several words on the occasion of marking the 70th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations General Assembly.

It through several Facebook verses has said that human rights and freedoms lie on the foundations of the Republic of Kosovo.

“Today, the world marks the 70th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations General Assembly, which is historically known as the Day of Human Rights. It was this declaration that paved the way for a series of international instruments guaranteeing human fundamental rights and freedoms worldwide. The fundamental human rights and freedoms lie at the foundations of the Republic of Kosovo, and we remain committed to strengthening and advancing them. HTH”, Thaci wrote.
