Talk to members of the policeman who was killed yesterday in Istog

Even a day after the murder of police officer Idriz Demaj by a suspect person who had attempted to commit a robbery at a bank in Istog, the place where the event happened has still been blocked by Kosovo police officials.

KALLXO.com's team stayed during the day at the place where police officer Izet Demaj was killed yesterday and then the person who allegedly tried to rob a bank in Istog.

Citizens who had seen this event were still shocked. Each of them showed their own versions of what happened.

Haki Haskaj, who had arrived at the scene 10 minutes after the event happened, has shown how order this event has been experienced.

I've seen the story before, but it's over, and I've seen through electronic media that something's happened and I've come in 10 minutes. We've been through it very hard, in general, the Istog municipality, people from last night to late we've been watching the news, watching the videos recording, a very tragic and untrustworthy event”, Haskaj says.

He also told what he saw when he arrived at the scene.

I saw that thief lying in the middle of the road, you looked at the bomb behind him, the money in a bag he took, the sad event”, Haskaj showed.

The Demaj family from the village of Istoge during the day had opened up to see the police on duty.

The son of Izet's uncle, Bekim Demaj, told of KALLXO.com how the family was informed about the murder of Izet Demaj.

I got a call from a cousin of mine and he asked me if there's anything new in Vrella. I hadn't heard anything, since five minutes ago I was where it happened, but then after a call we heard he was injured facing a criminal in the bank”, Demaj showed.

After hearing about Izhet, he was headed toward Peja Hospital.

We went to the hospital when we arrived and saw that it was all over, it changed lives to Izeti, from the bullets he took, from the person who was also killed by Kosovo police”, Demaj says.

He has shown that Izet Demaj has been a member of the Kosovo Police for more than 15 years, and a member of The KLA in the 138th Brigade in Kostunica.

“Izet has been a member of the Kosovo Police for 15 years or more. Earlier in the war, he was a member of the Agim Ramadani Brigade, in Kostunica, associate commander of Commander Rrustem Berisha, has been at war all the time and has faced dangers, that it's not in freedom that we've waited for”, Demaj relates.

Izet Demaj, 42-year-old Kosovo Police member, was killed yesterday during an armed robbery in Istog. He tried to arrest thieves, in defense of citizens and employees who were kidnapped at a bank branch NLB in Istog, after the gunshot wounds died, where the bank robber was killed.

In honour of the killed police, Izet Demaj, in Kosovo on Saturday will be a day of mourning, while the Government of Kosovo has decided to share a symbolic sum of 15 thousand euros for his family.
