The latter has been elected chairman by the coalition in the middle of the Reforma organisation, USPE, SVK and student peace, in October of this year.
Meanwhile, 9 deputies of the Student Parliament are accusing the president of the Student Parliament of being influenced by politics, even say he is influenced by the Social Democrat Initiative and by Arian Yanova.
Today, Student Parliament Speaker Arben Elshani, along with other students, have staged a protest before the UPP reactor.
An hour earlier on the official page of the Student Parliament on Facebook, a writing said that this protest was being organised by a group of individuals who are connected with criminal groups within the UPP and political groups who do not want the good of the University of Pristina.
For this writing, Student Parliament Speaker Arben Elshani says he is the only legitimate president to come out of the student elections, while the group of students who are opposing him calls them a group that are trying to capture the Student Parliament.
The other “Pala is a group of students who are trying at all costs to capture the Student Parliament. We are witnesses to what happened last week even the meeting called by the board even though we had our complaints that it was unfair, because to call a meeting of the Student Parliament must address the request of the speaker of the Parliament, so this has not happened by the other side. Although we have respected the Steering Council's decision, we have held the meeting in the presence of the UP's Steering Council and management, and everything has gone the right way and most democratic way”, he said.
He also objects that Arian Yanova has staged this protest,
“Absolutely not, today's protest has more to do with decisions being made several times by the pressure of a certain group of students and who are informed by someone else. Normally we don't like this at all. We have continued today with this activity, but we do not rule out the possibility that there will be other activities in the days ahead --”, he said.
On the other hand, Edon Nijshori, deputy from the reformist, has announced that the organisation éformaı, part of which is also Chairman Arben Elshani, have broken up the coalition and formed a new one in the middle of the Reformation, OPS and UPPSK, where they have chosen for president of the Student Parliament Flafron Kabashi.
He has told Kosova Press that he wants to bring down President Arben Elshani, as he puts him under political influence.
After taking the initiative to make the new coalition of the Student Parliament, we have immediately encountered resistance aboard the Steering Council, which is captured by the Initiative. This coalition has been held for a month and we have asked that vote be made for the president of the Student Parliament's fall motion, that is, Arben Elshani. This process has now lasted a month with the only reason to be given time to Arian Yanova with his capture through various relatives to make various pressures on MPs”, he has said.
He has said that as a new coalition between the Reformation, The OPS and UPPSK have 9 deputies, and according to him they have the majority to elect a new chairman.
We have the majority quorum and have expressed the will to establish a new coalition at the helm with Chairman Flalogon Kabashi, who must be legitimate chairman, because Arben Elshani is now leaving the Student Parliament without leadership. He cannot make any decision under the Student Parliament, as to make the decision he must have 9 votes. He so far has 8 votes and every decision he has is invalid”, he has said.
Today, Student Parliament Speaker Arben Elshani, along with several students, protested in front of the UP's reactor, demanding political independence in the Student Parliament.
In addition, they have requested Becir Sadiki's dismissal from the Steering Council, which they have called “baba” Head Council. Where, for this request, Student Parliament Speaker Arben Elshani has explained the reason why they have this request.
“has been the main person who has helped the other side very openly, creating favors that the job will be done with or without UP regulation. So, we're not that much out of procedure. All we're looking for from the beginning is that only with the regulation and the statute of the UP8x1> being respected, he said.
This student is hosted at a meeting by UP's prorectors, as according to budget and finance projector Myrvete Badivuk, Rector Marian Dema was not at work after there was a death case.
There's been a death case and the reactor must have been at the funeral ceremony. Therefore, he is not here with us today, otherwise we are open to talking, listening to your concerns and making the best possible solution”, she told the students.
After the meeting, Student Parliament Speaker Arben Elshani has said they have talked about their problems and will soon be announced by the reactor for steps to take.
