Rrustem Mustafa is the only Kosovo to have publicly announced that he has been invited for an interview by the Specialised Prosecutor's Office, headquartered in The Hague. And in the Special Chambers, they have not denied admitting the charges.
Mustafa has been one of the KLA commanders, while he will travel to The Hague for the scheduled interview on January 14th next year. The former commander of the Llap Operative Zone, a local court, had convicted him of war crimes in 2013.
On the other hand, the Specialised Prosecutor's Office is authorised to investigate and prosecute alleged KLA crimes mentioned in Senator Dick Marty's report, a document adopted in 2011 by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Although it has been so long since the report was released, there is still no reported indictment.
The prosecution's body has refused to provide information about the number of suspects, victims of witnesses invited for the interview.
