Serbia's prime minister, Anna Brnabiq, has met with Slovakia's prime minister, Peter Pelegrin, and they have talked about Kosovo.
The first of the Serbian government has thanked it for its long-term support with regard to Kosovo, Koha.net broadcasts.
For us this is a very emotional issue. The Serbian people will not forget the Slovak people this principle and thus help Serbia have dialogue with Kosovo about the potential normalisation of relations”, Brnabiq has said, past FoNet.
The Slovak counterpart has conveyed what she has called Serbia's concern over the Kosovo tax and its Army creation.
The frozen conflict is not good, and the tax has frozen the dialogue”, Slovak Prime Minister Pelegrin was quoted as saying while adding that Slovakia opposes forming the Kosovo Army.
Slovakia is one of the five European Union countries that does not recognise Kosovo's independence.
