He has announced that his contract ends on 3 January 2019.

“I hope you will consider my situation, and that I will find it in your understanding”, wrote Bozovic on Facebook.

Bojan Bozovic has been a journalist and former AKI associate in Kosovo.

In September, Bozovic had threatened to commit suicide if the work contract was not continued.

The move, Bozovic said, would be taken after the end of the work contract by Kosovo Telecom, where he was working for seven months, as he has signed on the work.

Bojan Bozovic's full letter:

Letter to the Government of Kosovo

On this day after ten months of imprisonment, I came out of the Serbian cazamat CZ in Belgrade and returned to Kosovo.

Six years after the brutal beating by Serbia's police, I'm still suffering health consequences, only because I was a journalist with Klan Kosovo, and later an AKI associate. Inhuman abuses by the police left me with several active ribs, and with many operations at the Military Medical Centre (VMA) in Belgrade.

Although many years have passed, I still suffer the effects of breaking my ribs, suffering from eyebrows and kidney infections. Despite my damaged health, I remain loyal to Kosovo, and I try to contribute to the development of my country, Kosovo, as much as my health allows.

I ask the Government to take into account my situation, and enable me to extend my contract with Kosovo Telecom. My contract ends on January 3, 2019. I hope you'll consider my condition, and I'll see in your understanding.

With sincere honors, Bojan Bozovic

P.S. To reflect my state of health, I am co-operating with pictures of some wounds suffered by the violence of the Serbian police towards me.
