With banners of different calls like “until Serbia continues to be evil”, protesters demanded President Vuciq's resignation.
Organisers said the upcoming protests are expected to be held on 16 January, on the anniversary of the Serbian politician's death in Kosovo, Oliver Ivanovic, whose murder sparked tensions in both countries.
Ivanovic was shot dead in front of his Mitrovica office.
“We will not stop or silence”, said leftist Party leader Borko Stefanovic, who was attacked last month in Kruesevc by several people.
Former Serbian Prime Minister Vuk Jeremic and the mayor of the municipality in Belgrade, Dragan Djilas, were in charge of the protest on 15 December.
In a recent report to Serbia, the European Parliament has said Serbia must improve the <x1 press freedom and freedom of expression”. (REL)
