Social Democrat Party Parliamentary Group chief Dardan Sejdiu has declared that they do not believe the solution is complaint and wailing, but commitment to building joint strategies in the face of an irresponsible, arrogant and corrupt power. Sejdiu in a Facebook post has written that the Social Democrat Party considers Government and the president of the Republic of Kosovo responsible for the current situation.
The battle is essentially with power. We believe there should be first opposition union and then consensus on dialogue. However, political will is needed for the opposition to be united by others. And mutual respect. Especially from the most numerous subjects in the” assembly, he wrote.
Sejdiu's comment:
The Social Democrat Party has long addressed the resolution of the knot between Kosovo and Serbia as important issues. And in this solution, the consensus of political subjects empowers the position of the Republic of Kosovo.
The government and much less the president have no legitimacy or credibility to negotiate on behalf of Kosovo and Kosovo. Only by being the Kosovo Assembly host of this process do we have legitimacy and credibility to represent the Republic.
But while on one side we have an irresponsible, arrogant and corrupt power, which is not leading Kosovo well and in particular the process of dialogue; on the other hand, we have a part of the opposition that all you do now and a few months is mourning and complaining.
Before some of the opposition parties talk about the PSD's political strategy, they must answer for the outcome of their several-month government collapse strategy, or bid to block power? Have they succeeded in this strategy?
They started with political party tables and then gave up. They continued with the “bojks” of the Parliament, then returned to sessions without results. They started with a motion of no confidence (even though they never gave him their signatures), concluded a resolution calling for the government to resign! Finally, they returned where they started: they are again searching for the table of political parties!
The Social Democrat Party considers the Government and the president of the Republic of Kosovo responsible for the current situation. As a result, the battle lies with power. We believe there should be first opposition union and then consensus on dialogue. However, political will is needed for the opposition to be united by others. And mutual respect. Especially from the most numerous subjects in the convent.
We do not believe that the solution is complaint and wailing, but the commitment to building common strategies, in the face of an irresponsible, arrogant and corrupt power.
