After voting in principle on the draft budget for 2019, Social Democrat Party Parliamentary Group chief Dardan Sejdiu has indicated that the draft budgets have voted because of the prime minister's commitment to their demands.

According to him, with those requirements achieved, health - care workers will benefit greatly, especially.

While, he stressed that the final agreement with Serbia is very important, as he says, the faster it needs to move forward.

The “is in fact very important that our vows, our demands were made in the Assembly are public, and the prime minister's commitment is public. I have to point once again that, in the circumstances and context of the Republic of Kosovo, we dare not be hostage to the Serbian List, the Vuqik instrument in a situation where we are moving forward about a final agreement. So, the budget of the Republic of Kosovo with all the shortcomings it has, we as the PSD support them in principle based on the prime minister's pledge in fulfilling the five conditions we have presented to”, he said.

Among other things, he listed requests that the government has accepted.

“is repeating these five conditions again. The first condition is necessary for the wage law to be adopted in the second reading of the draft budget, so at the same session here with special emphasis on health workers, the law on wages that solves the problem once and for all, we say, so in the public sector. We also requested that Monday, December 24, 2018, be prosecuted by the government for the dialogue law. This is an integral part of the resolution we have voted for the state delegation for dialogue with Serbia. We have also demanded that the government bring the law to the government, not more than eight months away than today with this law without equivoke being defined that no ministry can have that two deputy ministers, in this form reduce this budgetary burden that this government has that burdens Kosovo's Repuca citizen tax. Also, we have requested the fourth functioning demand of the agriculture ministry and the dismissal of the current minister, who is now exercising duty”, Sejdiu said.

By six and two votes per day, the draft budget was voted for 2019.
