PSD parliamentary group chief Dardan Sejdiu has stressed that visa liberalisation is the electoral promise now of all governments without exception.
He also stated that no government has been fair or correct in dealing with the visa liberalisation issue, claiming that Kosovo is not a complicated and unaffordable issue for EU countries because Kosovo is a small country, he said Kosovo has 1.8 million people, while only Paris has 2.5 million people. He also said that most Western Balkan states have the right to free movement since 2010.
“As far as the Government of Kosovo is concerned, part of the criticism was also given by the initiator, but I am mentioning one more. Misuse of the international community for delaying bad agendas for the Republic of Kosovo is one of the adults these governments have been using for 18 years now. But I believe we should expect some kind of credibility from those many states, which have spent hundreds of millions of euros, for then their institutions in Kosovo. I'm just saying here, for example. EULEX, the taxpayers' money of European citizens, has been spent in Kosovo significantly, so that then a mission that scans, maintains and builds the justice system in Kosovo”, Sejdiu said.
