Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj continues to remain Stoically the 100 per cent tax decision on Serbian products coming to Kosovo.

He has not changed his position even after the letter received days earlier by EU High Representative Federica Mogerini, who had offered status movements from UNMIK to Kosovo*. Haradinaj did not back down even after yesterday's meeting with the EU delegation in Brussels. The prime minister's determination is being reasoned by security experts, who call the European top diplomat's proposal ridiculous and very late. And the prime minister has not hesitated to defend his position today towards Serbia.

Kosovo can no longer be at the mercy of others. Kosovo its decisions, its works will present itself. I believe everyone will be convinced that this tax work is not only not going to be removed, but that every time it has to be consolidated as Kosovo's position. No matter who is minister, or prime minister or anyone else, but there is no change until recognition of”, he has said.

Security field connoisseurs show by what condition the Government should accept Mogher's offer. They say this situation will bring its advantages to Kosovo. Security field expert Nuredin Ibishi told Kosova Prees that this situation is not good, since Mogher and the European Union would have had to be remembered earlier this proposal. He even says it once was said to be removed, but it didn't happen, so he invites Government to be consistent in its decisions. He stresses that there must be compromises in any agreement. While adding that it is good that Kosovo testified that there is no 100 per cent tax incident since so far, it is Kosovo that has left the street. The introduction of the tax on Serbian goods, according to him, will offer another prospect even in dialogue with Serbia.

While analyst Agon Maliqi calls the EU's recent effort to promote the idea that the tax is hampering dialogue, the offer to lift the fee against Serbia in exchange for moving status from UNMIK to Kosovo*. He considers that such an offer from Kosovo could only be accepted 5 or 6 years ago.

While Donika Emini from the QKSS says this offer should not be taken into consideration, as CEFTA has not brought benefits to our country, as Moldova and Kosovo have no agreement, until Kosovo is constantly blocked by Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to her, the tariff is too big to enter the market for visa liberalisation or for a UNMIK status in Kosovo* -- the platform which, according to her, cannot be controlled by the EU. Amy says there can be no major moves within the EU at the moment, as elections are held in May. Therefore, she says Kosovo should benefit greatly from this time, in order to restructure its approach to the EU and Serbia so that it can make as much benefits as possible from this process.
