Saving changes warned for fiscal coupons

The Kosovo Tax Administration (ATK) is currently developing rewarding remuneration games from fiscal coupons.
From the start of this campaign so far, the repaid sum for citizens is over 29m euros, while the number of citizens who have been repaid is 1,531,617.

ATK officials have said that the number of citizens applying for this campaign differs from preliminary forms, since then they have been able to benefit all citizens who have accumulated fiscal coupons, while now can only benefit those who select melotars.

ATK spokeswoman Valentina Bytyqi-Sefa in a proposal for Indexline has warned that there will be changes from the current campaign, in which the number of citizen applications totals up to 60 thousand.

We have not yet planned to change the form of reimbursement from fiscal coupons, of course there will be a change, since ATK always made efforts to find the most suitable form for citizens. The changes are made in order to encourage as many citizens as possible to request fiscal vouchers, which are ahead of the Administrative Guide for organising this company”, it has stated.

Bytyqi-Sefa has said this campaign has been of great help in educating citizens, turning them into <x0).

“As far as the old form is concerned, it has been a unique form, which has largely managed to educate citizens about the importance of the fiscal coupon. The previous form in a way has turned citizens into “inspectors” after each purchase they have asked to be equipped with fiscal coupons. However, even on the basis of administrative instruction, it is envisioned to change the form of reimbursement” by 1-2 years, she has said further.

The payback campaign is currently under way in the fourth quarter phase in 2018. And the number of citizens for each period of application totals up to 600,000.
