The launch of the test was monitored by the president himself, Vladimir Putin, who declared that this weapon is impossible to detect and that he will ensure Russia's security in the decades to come, tch broadcasts.
Weapons parameters were successfully verified during its departure at the Dombarovskiy missile base in the Ural Mountains.
According to Russian officials, it managed successfully to hit a target that took place 6 thousand miles from the launch site.
President Putin called the new weapon “Avangard” saying it could not be detected during flight. The new system will enter the service of Russian armed forces next year.
