A Russian tourist (29) tried to rob a bank in the Norwegian city of Longyearbayen, located on the Svalbard Archipelago near the North Pole, from which only by plane can you leave.
Longerbijaen is located at the Svalbard Archipelad in the Arctic Ocean and has about 2,000 inhabitants. About 3,000 polar bears live on this archipelag, reports Aftonbaldet. The young tourist entered the bank armed with a rifle and demanded $7,000 from officials. She hasn't considered being in a small place where everyone knows each other.
In Longerbjön, every local and even tourists can carry guns because of the large number of polar bears. The thief was soon arrested and moved to Tromsa, in the continental part of Norway, where she will be questioned. Longerbjane is different from the northernmost city in the world, and so far there has never been a robbery in this country, Kosovo Presses broadcast.
